*taeshilh is a long time online acquaintance who draws the rather fab "Bittersweet Candy Bowl" ([link]) - a cat comic of love, friendship, the joys of growing up and delicious angst (with a splash of comedy).

...I swear it's better than I just made it sound, honest!

Anyway this is (current) canon couple Mike and Sandy in their childhood days. Who's the less impressed kitty in the far background? Lucy - Mike's childhood friend. Wanna know what dats all about. Go read the comic ; )

Oh my god Lucy just sitting in the background with her egg is just the icing on the cake, because otherwise this drawing would be so chock-full of sugar and sweetness oh my god I love it ;____;

This is so cuteeeeeee thank you so much and as I said I'm sorry for the twitterspam I kind of forgot that other people would have to face that and stuff :( How utterly annoying. But this is such love~!!!!!

Lucy was actually a bit of a last minute throw in for that reason. It was that or go all overkill with rainbows, hearts and stuff. But then I didn't want to make it a parody so much as capture the feeling of utter joy (with the ignorant abandonment present but not overbearing - much as I feel for poor Lucy)

Plus Mike and Sandy seem the type of kids that would of played good ol "Kiss Chase" together :v
